The is an exciting contractor has a history of working on rail projects across NSW. Due to continued growth, their fantastic reputation, and a strong pipeline of projects, are actively seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. This is an opportunity to work on a signature Sydney Metro project!

Reporting to the Project Manager - your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Client interface and engagement for work packages, including developing the works scope, scheduling and site compliance.
• Identify risks to health and safety for workers and public through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
• Assist in planning, scheduling and managing all aspects of minor civil works.
• Manage the onsite safety, environmental and quality and execution of associated workings involving:
• Meet the specific requirements of the Company's Management Systems Provide technical support to the Project Manager and Supervisors.
• Monitor and track that statutory requirements relating works are adhered to at all times.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Experience working on Rail based projects.
• Previous local Rail, Civil Infrastructure, or Sydney Metro experience will be highly regarded
• A stable career history with reputable civil contractors
• A commitment to safety and health for all onsite
• Project Engineering local experience
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The ability to communicate across all levels of the business, including client interface.
