Job Description

My client is an exciting Tier 3 contractor, who have a fresh approach in the Civil Industry and due to continued growth, fantastic reputation, and strong pipleine of projects, are actively seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This includes specialising in design, construction and project management on complexed projects across Sydney. Reporting to the Construction Manager - your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Client interface and engagement for work packages, including developing the works scope, scheduling and site compliance.
• Identify risks to health and safety for workers and public through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
• Assist in planning, scheduling and managing all aspects of civil works.
• Manage the onsite safety, environmental and quality and execution of associated workings involving
• Road construction and earthworks
• Rail Possession works
• Remediation and some experience with demolition will be highly regarded
• Meet the specific requirements of the Company's Management Systems and Provide a reporting program to a board of directors
• Monitor and track that statutory requirements relating works are adhered to at all times.
• Client interface with RMS and local Councils

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Experience working on RMS & Earthworks based projects
• 3+ years experience as a Project Manager
• A background in demolition or remediation projects is also advantageous but not essential
• A stable career history with reputable civil contractors
• Experience working in the Rail Corridor is highly regarded
• A commitment to safety and health for all onsite
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The ability to communicate across all levels of the business, including client interface.
