Job Description

Our client are an Australian-owned and operated, with their products being manufactured in a purpose built facility in Morningside, Brisbane. They are dedicated to the manufacture of cheesecakes, gateaux, individual desserts, tarts and slices for the international and domestic food service markets.

We are currently seeking process workers and machine operators to join the Morningside team. Working a 7.6 hour fixed for a day and night shift roster, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of high quality baked products.

This role is on a Temp to Perm basis.

Day shift: 6am- 2pm Shift
Night shift: 10pm- 6am Shift


Duties of the role will include:

• Safe operation of plant and equipment within company's operational requirements
• Meeting production schedules
• Undertaking QC testing, including accurate record keeping
• Routine housekeeping and cleaning within your responsible lines
• Ensuring product is manufactured in accordance with standard operating procedures and identifying process improvement opportunities
• Operating within our safe work systems including reporting and corrective action identification
• Participating in Lean, 5S and Continuous Improvement programs

Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong commitment to safety
• Passion & commitment to delivering quality products & processes
• Ability to work and collaborate within a team
• An interest to learn and develop skills within a manufacturing environment
• Computer skills (data entry and reporting)
• Ability to work autonomously and follow direction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including numerical
