Plastic Injection Technician

The Company

My client is a privately-owned and operated plastic packaging company, manufacturing and distributing across all states and territories in Australia. They specialise in the production and supply of high-quality plastic pails & buckets with lids and handles, barrels & drums with lids and tubes.

The Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced plastics technician to join a rapidly expanding company. You'll get to work with the most up to date European plastic injection machines. You will receive training and support to ensure you understand the organisation process and procedures.

You'll have fantastic opportunity to grow and progress to senior leadership roles through internal promotion systems.

This role would suit a Die Setter/Fitter or tooling specialist that can work with setting moulds and maintaining machines.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and Operating machines
• Setting and changing moulds
• Troubleshooting Machine breakdowns
• Increasing production outputs
• Maintaining machines

Skills and Experience:

• Prior use of Plastic injection moulding machines
• Experienced at setting up, and operating machines and whole production lines
• Able to read work orders and technical drawings related to finished parts
• Formally recognised Technical Training in plastics & or die setting
• Keen to learn and solve problems
