About the Company

Core Talent are currently recruiting for a reputable Civil construction company. there focus is predominately in the Mining, Private Development, Local and State Government sectors, across regional areas of QLD and NSW. Over the past 16 years they have been specialists in Civil Construction, Mining Infrastructure & Agricultural development.

About the role

Due to continued growth, they are seeking multiple civil project engineers and senior civil project engineers to become part of the team projects. These full-time positions will be Monday to Friday and based at the head office in Toowoomba.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Demonstrated experience in planning, management and delivery of civil projects
• Managing client correspondence and contractual items including updating construction programs
• Liaise in a timely manner with all project stakeholders
• Strong experience managing suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor and report on project progress including cost vs budget
• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and project compliance

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, or similar qualification (essential)
• Minimum 3 years industry experience working for Tier 2 or 3 contractors
• Traffic Management qualification or willingness to get TMD
• Demonstrated ability in Risk Management
• Good computer literacy and communication skills
• Current drivers' licence
